Does pilot job exist untill 2050?

The simple answer for this question is YES.

  1.  It is possible to fly an airplane automatically but it is not allowed to transport the passengers on board. Of cause we have auto pilot that could even land the plane automatically but it is still relying on the pilots hands to set up those systems. 関連画像
  2. The new generation aircraft that Boeing and Airbus are currently introducing will be in the market for approximately 40 years. For example the new generation Boeing 777x will be launched from 2022 and finishes their assemble at around mid 2040s. The airplane usually flies for 20-35 years. If this is the case, the pilot job will definitely going to exist until mid 2050s. 「b777x」の画像検索結果
  3. Most of the commercial airliners are attached with the radio and transponder. Radio is used for the ATC (Air Traffic |Control) clearances. Planes cannot fly without any ATC instructions. Also the instrument Transponder is the one of the radio equipment that are used to inform the ATC the Aircraft registration, Altitude, Speed and their destinations. But the one of the most important feature about this instrument is to tell "What" situation are the planes in. This includes the serious threat to plane such as terrorism or the serious technical fault of the aircraft. These systems are all set by hetmans and decided by humans as well .「transponder b787」の画像検索結果
  4. Another aircraft system "TCAS" are also set by pilots as well. TCAS stands for Traffic alert and Crash Avoidance System. As you can see this instrument is used to avoid the mid air crash between the aircrafts. This instrument just give the pilots a instruction so the both pilots have to respond to those alerts.「TCAS」の画像検索結果
Mainly those are the prime factor of why plans cant fly by its self. There might be technology advance in few years but in my opinion, the pilot job will remain the same until 2100.

Why does the airplane fly?

Probably most of the viewers have already seen the airplane flying the sky. But did you ever wondered WHY does the airplanes fly? You will probably say "There will be huge science behind". But that is absolutely right. but today, I will be explain to you what exactly makes plane fly.「plane」の画像検索結果
You need the following 3 elements to order to fly.

1, Air

2, thrust

3, suitable wing

Firstly I will talk about the suitable wing.  Lets say you have a chainsaw and you have tinny model of wing. if you cut the wing into half, do you know how it will look like?

It usually looks like this. Now "Air" comes as important as a wing. IF THERE IS NO AIR, THE WING NOLONGER CAN'T GENERATE LIFT. Let's think this way, think the air is a water. If you move in the water, you will actually feel the water but if you stop moving, you don't. this happens same to the wing. when wing moves towards the air, this is when you get "Lift" from the wing.

In the next blog, I will talk about how thrust is important .

Introduction of Geography of Aviation

                                 Introduction of this blog

Hello my name is Shane and I am the writer of this blog. I will be mainly explaining the geography in aviation. Also I will be talking about interesting information and knowledge of the planes, how to  be a pilot in 17 and the training updates of my EASA-PPL licence.

Brief introduction of myself: My name is Shane and I am a high school student and also flying Ireland as a flight student in Dublin at the moment. I am currently on the Cessna 152(C152) to take my EASA (European Aviation Safety Agency) part-FCL PPL (privet pilot licence) issued by IAA (Irish Aviation Authority).
